Planning a Wedding in Las Vegas

Weddings are most important occasions to most of us, no matter what part of the world you are in or what culture you belong. Years of preparation and hours spent on lots of small details to be checked. We do all these things because we dream of that perfect wedding. There are so many ways to make your wedding even more special. If you really want to try something extraordinary, why don’t you consider planning a wedding in Las Vegas?

Limousines, casinos, rare and sophisticated foods, rich and famous people, expensive hotels, clubs and restaurants are just a few things that represent Las Vegas. Imagine how a wedding in this glamorous city would look like.

The City of Lights is a superb location, and for this reason, many choose to have their weddings in this unique place.

There are a few things you need to know if you're planning a wedding in Las Vegas. When planning a wedding in Las Vegas, it is all about the options you have. If you plan to have a fun Las Vegas wedding, you should strongly consider a themed wedding ceremony. There are many different themes available for a Las Vegas wedding.

Treasure Island offers several different packages for a Pirate Ship Las Vegas wedding. Wedding guests are seated along an outdoor patio overlooking Sirens' Cove. The men in the wedding party and ship's captain board the pirate ship and wait for the bride's entrance along the rose-covered walkway. The package can also include pirates as witnesses and even have a pirate swing down from the crow's nest to deliver the wedding rings. They offer photography and video with their services.

An Eiffel Tower Las Vegas wedding is also a lot of fun and very interesting. The Paris package gives the option of being married atop the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas. The Las Vegas wedding ceremony takes place on the 50th-story outdoor observation desk. The Video recording provided begins from the first moment you enter the glass elevator until you exit after coming down.

Perhaps you'd rather opt for the European feel of a Gondola Las Vegas wedding at the Venetian hotel and casino. There is a gondola on-site at the Venetian that is authentic and Italian. It is large enough for all of the participants in your wedding. The available snacks and food for a Gondola Las Vegas wedding are varied, but they include champagne and strawberries.

The Las Vegas Hilton offers a wacky themed Star Trek wedding. Star Trek the Las Vegas Wedding Experience is an interactive adventure based on the voyages of the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation. People can get married on the bridge of the USS Enterprise and have Klingons and Ferengi as witnesses. Receptions are offered at Quark's Bar and Restaurant. There is a package for an Admiral’s Star Trek wedding that is designed for up to thirty people. The Admiral’s Star Trek wedding package includes wedding photography, a wedding video and the choice of four different Star Trek characters to be present at the wedding. If you choose this package, you also get a brass plaque recognizing your wedding date on display in Quark's Bar and Restaurant. If that wasn’t enough, your package also includes tickets for the Klingon Encounter and Borg Invasion 4D attractions for all of the wedding guests.

If you're an adventurous person, why don’t you try this unique experience: having a wedding in a helicopter, above Las Vegas, during the night? The ceremony can take place as you fly above the glitz and glamour of the Las Vegas Strip or you have the option to fly to the Grand Canyon and say your nuptials there. This could really be an experience to tell to your grandchildren.

Red Rock Canyon is located just a few miles west of Las Vegas and offers stunning scenery, making it a great location for a unique wedding. Or, you might choose to have your wedding in a gondola at Lake Las Vegas or on a 70 foot private yacht at the same beautiful Lake Las Vegas.

Of course I'm sure you know that the City of Lights offers hundreds of chapels, from the small ones to the most exotic chapels in the world. You have so many options there. You can choose from dozens of wedding themes, such as “Titanic”, “The beauty and the beast” and so on. It is all a matter of taste and imagination. Just let your imagination run free and have a memorable wedding day.

When you think of planning a wedding in Las Vegas, remember to take all your credit cards with you. You will have so many possibilities, and you can easily spend more than you have planned. Nevertheless, if you really want something truly unique the cost will be the last thing to worry about, right?
